Washer repair

When laundry stops moving, start with a thoughtful assessment of the problem.

Let’s understand the problem

Sound familiar?

  • Water remains in the drum after a cycle
  • The washer will not start or finish a cycle
  • The drum does not spin as expected
  • The machine leaks, shakes unusually or displays an error

A closer look comes first.

The stage at which a washer stops is often a useful starting point: filling, washing, draining or spinning. Share that detail along with the model number and any recent change in sound or performance. We will assess the appliance before recommending work. Stacked installations and compact laundry closets may need additional access planning, so include those details in your request.

Before your visit

  • Photograph any error code and note the cycle that was running.
  • Tell us whether the washer is top-loading, front-loading or part of a stacked set.
  • Make the laundry area accessible and mention any water remaining in the drum.

No need to move or take apart your appliance before requesting service. If using it appears unsafe, stop using it and seek appropriate help.

A few useful answers

What if there is still water in the washer?

Mention it when requesting service and leave the machine assembled. Do not dismantle the washer to prepare for the visit. We will discuss the condition and access requirements with you.

Can you look at a stacked washer?

Send the brand, model and a description of the installation. We will confirm whether we can service that setup and discuss any access arrangements before scheduling.
